They said it couldn’t be done. People had considered it, but taking The Wicker Man to stage was no easy task. It took 6 months to get the script together and a further 6 to adapt it to stage.

Using trees to decorate the auditorium, 50 film clips (not lifted from the original film but filmed by ourselves – including building our own stone ring for our virgins to dance around plus a Maypole!) 118 screen stills and cues like you wouldn’t believe, it was a production with 38 cast-members.

Needless to say, we pulled it off!
